You can download and install the Core Strengths Presenter (CSP) for either macOS or Windows.

Install the Core Strengths Presenter for macOS

To download and install the Core Strengths Presenter (CSP) for macOS, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to app.corestrengths.com. 
  2. Click Train in the top-level navigation.
  3. Click Resources in the second-level navigation. 
  4. Under the Presenter tab, choose from one of the 8 languages in the list.
  5. Click Download.
    A digital image (DMG) file downloads to your computer.
  6. In your Finder window, click Downloads and look for the recently downloaded DMG file.
  7. Drag and drop the CSP icon to the Applications folder.
  8. The first time you open the CSP, you might see a modal with the wording "CSP cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified." If you see this modal, take these steps:
    1. Click Cancel. 
    2. Click the Apple icon in the upper-left corner of your screen, and then choose System Preferences.
    3. Click Security & Privacy.
    4. Click the General tab.
    5. On the bottom half of the screen, find the text that says "Allow app downloads from:"
    6. Click Open Anyway. 
    7. You again see the modal with the wording "CSP cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified."
    8. Click Open.
  9. After the installation is complete, launch the CSP by double-clicking the CSP icon from the Applications folder.
  10. You are prompted to enter your Presenter Key the first time you log in. See Find Your Presenter Key.  

  11. Create a four-digit PIN, select two security questions, and choose your security answers to access the CSP.

    Store your four-digit PIN and answers to the two security questions in a safe place. You need this four-digit PIN to access the CSP in all future uses, and you need the answers to your security questions if you ever need to reset your PIN. 


  12. Close the DMG file by right-clicking the icon and choosing Eject.

Troubleshoot the CSP Installation for macOS

If you are having issues installing the CSP for macOS, follow these steps to troubleshoot your download:

You want to move the CSP application from your Applications folder to your desktop.


  1. From your Applications folder, right-click the CSP icon.
  2. Right-click or two-finger tap your trackpad to open a menu of choices.
  3. Choose Create an alias.
  4. Drag the CSP alias to your desktop, or move it to another location of your choosing.

Alternatively, you can take these steps:

  1. From your Applications folder, click the CSP icon. 
  2. The CSP appears in your Dock. 
  3. Right-click or two-finger tap the Dock icon.
  4. Select Options. 
  5. Choose Keep in Dock.
You’re prompted to enter your Presenter key every time you launch the CSP.See Stop the CSP From Asking for Your Presenter Key at Every Launch.
You’re unable to download the CSP from the Core Strengths Platform due to network issues.

Reach out to your Client Partner and ask for a ZIP file with the download, a thumb drive with the CSP, or a special link that downloads the installation kit.

  3. Click Resources in the second-level navigation.
