Add or Reschedule a Learner to a Class

You need to add learners to a class before you facilitate an in-person session. You can add learners or reschedule learners to a new class individually or through bulk upload.

To add or reschedule a learner for a class, follow these steps:

Add Learners Individually

Follow these steps to add learners to a class one at a time:

  1. Click the name of the class you created in Create a class.

  2. Click Add Learner +.

  3. Update the following fields to add an individual learner:

    1. First name

    2. Last name

    3. E-mail address

    4. Job title (optional)

  4. Click Add learner.
    Repeat these steps for every learner you'd like to add to your class.

  5. Now that your learners are in the class, you must invite them. Please see Send SDI invitations and reminders to class members for instructions on how to invite the learners to the class.

Add Multiple Learners by Bulk Upload

Follow these steps to create a CSV upload file to add multiple learners to a class:

  1. Click the name of the class you created in Create a team.

  2. Click Add Learner +.

  3. Click Batch CSV Template.
    A CSV template downloads.

  4. In the CSV template, fill in the following columns with the required information:

    1. First name

    2. Last name

    3. E-mail address

    4. Job title (if you do not know the Job Title you can put a hyphen “-” in the column.

  5. Save the file in a place where you'll remember.

  6. Click Batch Upload Members.

  7. From your files, navigate to the CSV file, and then click Choose.

  8. Now that your learners are in the class, you must invite them. Please see Send SDI invitations and reminders to class members for instructions on how to invite the learners to the class.
